The NASCAR Canada Series heads to Delaware Speedway on Saturday, September 12, for the NTN BCA 200 Presented by APC, the final race of the 2026 season.
Last weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Marc-Antoine Camirand secured the 2026 NASCAR Canada Series championship behind the wheel of the No. 96 GM Paillé/Chevrolet Canada, becoming the first driver in series history to win three consecutive titles. It marks his fourth championship in five seasons, following titles in 2022, 2024 and 2025.
Camirand enters the season finale atop the standings with 581 points, followed by L.P. Dumoulin with 496 points in the No. 47 Weathertech/Omnifab Dodge, and Kevin Lacroix with 465 points in the No. 74 NAPA Gold Filters/NAPA Racing Chevrolet. The driver of the No. 96 GM Paillé Chevrolet has seven victories this season and will be looking for an eighth at the NTN BCA 200 Presented by APC, which would establish a new series record for the most wins in a single season.
Former series champion Cayden Lapcevich will make his second NASCAR Canada start of the season at Delaware Speedway in the No. 76 Ohsweken Speedway/Chantarellie Promotions Chevrolet with Glenn Styres Racing and Velocity Race Cars. Last weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, the 2016 NASCAR Pinty’s Series champion started 25th and finished third in his first series appearance of 2026.
Last season at Delaware Speedway, Donald Theetge won both races of the doubleheader in the No. 80 Revetement Vulcain/Max Leclerc Construction Chevrolet. Driver of the No. 17 Castrol/Super.com/Rocketdoctor.com/Brimstone Games Dodge, D.J. Kennington started the APC 125 from pole position, while Camirand had posted the fastest lap in practice. Theetge won the opening race, followed by Kennington in second and Lacroix in third.
Theetge also recorded the fastest lap of the APC 125, earning pole position for the NTN 125 later that evening. He went on to win the second race ahead of Kennington and Lacroix, resulting in the same top three in both races.
On-track action begins Saturday with practice at 12:00 p.m. ET, followed by qualifying at 3:15 p.m. ET. Fans will also have an opportunity to meet the drivers during the NASCAR Canada autograph session from 5:00 p.m. to 5:35 p.m. ET.
The green flag for the NTN BCA 200 Presented by APC is scheduled to wave at 6:10 p.m. ET. The race will be broadcast live on REV TV, TVA Sports 2 and the NASCAR Canada YouTube channel, with tape-delayed coverage also available on TSN.
