Mathieu Kingsbury topped the combined practice charts ahead of Saturday’s NASCAR Canada doubleheader at Autodrome Montmagny. Behind the wheel of the No. 9 Duroking / BFL Canada Chevrolet, Kingsbury set the fastest lap of the session with a time of 18.117 seconds on his third lap of the initial practice.
“The car is still really good. We still need a bit more traction,” said Kinsbury. “Big thanks to the team for all their hard work. We feel confident going into tonight and we’re hoping for a good night.”
Alex Guenette posted the second-fastest time in the No. 39 DLGL / GL Électricité-Automatisations Chevrolet. Will Larue recorded the third-fastest lap in the No. 45 Larue Industrial Snow Blowers / Leeboy Chevrolet. Donald Theetge was fourth quickest in the No. 80 Vulcain / Max Leclerc Construction Chevrolet, while Alex Tagliani completed the top five in the No. 3 Olymel / Wurth / Ureco Chevrolet.
Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. ET, with the XPN Burn-X 125 set to take the green flag at 6:10 p.m. ET, followed by the Delta Electrolyte 150 at 8:10 p.m. ET.
