The NASCAR Canada Series heads to the East Coast this Saturday, June 27, for the fourth event of the 2026 season, the Pinty’s 300 at Riverside International Speedway.
Located just outside Antigonish, Nova Scotia, the 1/3-mile high-banked asphalt oval once again welcomes the NASCAR Canada Series for its annual visit to the Maritimes, which also marks the first night race of the 2026 season.
Marc-Antoine Camirand enters the weekend leading the championship standings following a sweep of the recent doubleheader at Autodrome Chaudière. The driver of the No. 96 GM Paillé Chevrolet will be looking to continue his strong start to the season.
Last season, D.J. Kennington captured the victory at Riverside International Speedway after starting from pole position in the No. 17 Castrol / Brimstone Games / DriveBuySupply / CIM Dodge. Rookie Will Larue finished second in the No. 45 Larue Industrial Snow Removal Equipment / LeeBoy Chevrolet. Donald Theetge, driver of the No. 80 Revêtements Vulcain / Max Leclerc Construction Chevrolet, recorded the fastest time in practice.
Among active drivers, Kennington leads all competitors with three victories at Riverside International Speedway, while Kevin Lacroix, driver of the No. 74 Valvoline / NAPA Racing Chevrolet, has recorded two wins at the track.
The weekend will also mark the first start of the season for Frédérik Ladouceur, who will drive the No. 28 entry for DJK Racing.
On-track activities begin on Saturday with initial practice from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. AT (11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET), followed by final practice from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. AT (12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET). An autograph session is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 5:10 p.m. AT (3:30 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. ET), with qualifying set for 5:50 p.m. AT (4:50 p.m. ET). The green flag for the Pinty’s 300 is scheduled to wave at 9:10 p.m. AT (8:10 p.m. ET).
