Alex Guénette will compete full time in the 2026 NASCAR Canada Series, driving the #39 Chevrolet Camaro in a partnership formed between JASS Racing and XEMIS Racing. Backed by primary partners DLGL Technologies and GL Electric Automatisation, the program marks the first time Guénette enters the season with a fully dedicated, championship-focused effort.
The #39 Chevrolet Camaro will be led by crew chief Jonathan Côté, continuing the strong momentum the duo built last season. After showing competitive speed and securing a near-victory with a second-place finish, the team enters 2026 with clear objectives: race wins and a championship campaign.
“I’m very excited to have a full-time program together,” said Guénette. “I’ve only run two full seasons before, and this is the first time we have a complete team focus built around one car. I truly believe that will make a big difference. Jonathan and I learned a lot working together last year, and with the results we showed — including a second-place finish — we know we’re capable of more. This year, we’re chasing wins and the championship, nothing less. Having my grandfather back racing selected events makes it even more special. Those are moments I’ll truly cherish.”
Adding to the story in 2026, Jacques Guénette Sr., Alex’s grandfather, will compete in selected road course events with DLGL and XEMIS Racing, driving the #93 Chevrolet Camaro. The multi-generational presence highlights the deep racing heritage within the Guénette family and adds a unique dimension to the team’s season.
The partnership between JASS Racing and XEMIS Racing combines technical expertise, operational structure, and competitive ambition under one banner. With DLGL Technologies and GL Electric Automatisation supporting the effort, the program is positioned as one of the most focused and determined entries on the grid.
The 2026 NASCAR Canada Series season promises intense competition across Canada’s premier oval and road course venues, and the #39 team enters the year with momentum, stability, and a clear objective: contend for victories every weekend.
