Paillé Course//Racing Returns in 2026 to Defend Marc-Antoine Camirand’s Championship

Paillé Course//Racing will return to the NASCAR Canada Series for the 2026 season, but will concentrate its investment on driver Marc-Antoine Camirand and the No. 96 car.

After several seasons fielding two cars in Canada’s premier stock-car series, the organization has decided to adjust its strategy for the upcoming campaign.

“We have confidence in the NASCAR Canada Series and we want to continue our involvement in the country’s premier racing series. We have decided to concentrate our investment on a single driver for the upcoming season,” explained Jean-Claude Paillé, President of GM Paillé.

This decision will allow the team to focus its resources around the No. 96 GM Paillé/Chevrolet Canada Camaro in order to continue performing at the highest level, while maintaining its commitment to the series.

In this context, Marc-Antoine Camirand will remain the primary driver for Paillé Course//Racing in the NASCAR Canada Series. The agreement with Andrew Ranger will therefore not be renewed for the 2026 season.

“In a context where U.S. tariff barriers and the conflict in the Middle East are creating significant uncertainty for the economy, we had to rethink our investments in motorsports and make this decision,” added Jean-Claude Paillé.

Paillé Course//Racing would also like to highlight Andrew Ranger’s significant contribution over the past several seasons.

“Andrew is a driver with tremendous experience and talent, and he continues to prove that he is a formidable competitor on the track. He delivered strong performances and major victories for Paillé Course//Racing over the past four years, and we wish him the very best for the next chapter of his career,” said Jean-Claude Paillé.

Marc-Antoine Camirand will return behind the wheel of the No. 96 GM Paillé/Chevrolet Canada Camaro, a car that has already helped the team secure three NASCAR Canada titles. The team will rely on the Quebec driver’s stability and experience to remain among the championship contenders in 2026.

In 2025, Camirand became the first driver in series history to win back-to-back titles. He now aims to push his own record further by capturing a fourth championship in five seasons.

As in previous seasons, the No. 96 oval and road-course cars will be prepared by crew chief Robin McCluskey at the shop of the three-time champion, Camirand Performance.

Paillé Course//Racing and Marc-Antoine Camirand intend to build on their momentum in 2026 and remain among the championship’s leading organizations. The season will kick off on May 17 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, near Bowmanville, Ontario.

The NASCAR Canada schedule will once again be busy, featuring no fewer than 14 races across 11 weekends in four Canadian provinces. Stops in Quebec include Autodrome Chaudière (June 6), Autodrome Montmagny (July 4), the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières (August 9) and Circuit ICAR in Mirabel (August 29). The series will also return to the Indy event in the Greater Toronto Area on August 15, on the new downtown street circuit in Markham.
