The NASCAR Canada Series will conclude its 2025 season this weekend with the running of the XPN 250 at Autodrome Montmagny. A total of 21 drivers are expected to compete in the 250-lap event.

All eyes will be on the championship showdown, as just one race remains to determine who will claim the 2025 NASCAR Canada Series trophy. Leading the charge is defending champion Marc-Antoine Camirand in the No. 96 Paillé Racing Chevrolet, D.J. Kennington in the No. 17 Castrol Edge/Brimstone Games/CIM Metals Dodge and Andrew Ranger in the No. 27 Paillé Racing Chevrolet still firmly in contention.

The XPN 250 also features drivers with strong performance at Autodrome Montmagny last year. Defending event winner Kevin Lacroix will return in the No. 74 NAPA Racing/Valvoline Chevrolet. Alex Labbé, driving the No. 36 VR Victoriaville/Lussier Chevrolet, earned the E3 Spark Plugs Pole Award in 2024 while William Larue in the No. 45 Larue Industrial Snow Blowers/XPN Chevrolet scored a strong runner-up finish. Donald Theetge will return to Autodrome Montmagny in the No. 80 Garoy Construction/Revêtements Vulcain Chevrolet, fresh off a sweep at Delaware Speedway and aiming to improve on his top-five finish from 2024.

Set to compete is Frédérik Ladouceur, making his first start of the season with Ed Hakonson Racing in the No. 3 Entrepôt Pièces d’Autos/Chevrolet Camaro, and Matthew Shirley, traveling from Saskatoon to race the No. 46 Crush-It Ice Tea/Denray Tire/Shirley’s Service Dodge with DJK Racing.

On-track activity begins Saturday with practice at 12:15 p.m. ET, followed by qualifying at 3:45 p.m. The XPN 250 is scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on REV TV and TVA Sports, with tape-delayed coverage airing on TSN.
