D.J. Kennington will lead the field at his home track for the first race of the evening, the APC 125 at Delaware Speedway, after posting the fastest lap in qualifying. His No. 17 Castrol Edge/Brimstone Games/CIM Metals Dodge secured the E3 Spark Plugs Pole Award.
Joining Kennington on the front row is Donald Theetge in the No. 80 Garoy Construction/Revêtements Vulcain Chevrolet. Marc-Antoine Camirand, the defending champion, will start third in the No. 96 Paillé Racing Chevrolet, with rookie Connor Pritiko making his NASCAR Canada Series debut in fourth driving the No. 3 APC/H&N Roofing/Glencoe Auto Recyclers Chevrolet for Ed Hakonson Racing. Kevin Lacroix will round out the top five in the No. 74 NAPA Racing/Valvoline Chevrolet.
“Good qualifying for us, but it’s just the start. We’ve got 125 laps to get the job done, and we’ll do everything we can to put this car in Victory Lane,” said Kennington.
The APC 125 will go green at 6:20 p.m. ET. Fans can catch all the action live on REV TV starting at 6 p.m.
