Marc-Antoine Camirand Fastest in Practice at Complexe ICAR!

Practice Results

The NASCAR Canada Series is back in action at Complexe ICAR this weekend for the Evirum 100. The track, located on the outskirts of Montréal, has been the scene of many thrilling battles over the years. If today’s practice session is any indication, fans are in for quite a show for the race later at 5:30 PM!

Marc-Antoine Camirand, commanding his No. 96 Paillé Racing Chevrolet, set the pace, posting a flying lap of 1:03.541 near the end of the session to edge out young talent Justin Arseneau in the No. 3 Chevrolet Piscine Fibro / Volaria Air Show / Chevrolet 440 by a mere 0.013 seconds.

The top 10 shuffled constantly throughout the session, with Kevin Lacroix in the No. 74 Adaptive One / NAPA Racing Dodge holding the top spot for much of the run. He ultimately finished fourth, behind Andrew Ranger in the No. 27 Paillé Racing Chevrolet.

Rounding out the top five was seasoned driver and fan-favourite Alex Tagliani at the wheel of the No. 80 St-Hubert / Bet GRW / UPS Chevrolet.
