Marc-Antoine Camirand qualified fastest in the No. 96 GM Paillé Chevrolet for the Leland Industries 250 at Sutherland Automotive Speedway with a time of 14:915s.
“We qualified first here in Saskatoon,” said Camirand. “The car felt good in practice but we tweaked it a bit. We will start on the front row, first position, and we will see what we can do during the race.”
Camirand, who won the most recent NASCAR Canada event at Ohsweken Speedway will be looking for his third win of the season.
Starting on the front row with Camirand will be Kevin Lacroix in the No. 74 Quick Strut/NAPA Racing Dodge. Lacroix recorded a fast time of 14:960s, which was 0.045s off the pole.
Lacroix’s teammate, Andrew Ranger in the No. 27 GM Paillé Chevrolet qualified third, recording a time of 14.971s. Jason Hathaway will start on the second row, in fourth place, commanding his No. 3 ASSA ABLOY/Leland Industries Chevrolet for the 150th time in the NASCAR Canada series.
