Chase Briscoe in the No. 1 Rinnai/Mahindra Tractors/S3 Ford wins the first heat race and secures the pole for the Freshstone Dirt Classic at Ohsweken Speedway, in his first career NASCAR Canada Series start.
“On the pole for tonight, having a lot of fun here slinging some dirt here at Ohsweken,” said Briscoe. “Can’t wait for the feature and hope we can keep it up front and have a lot of fun.”
Andrew Ranger, who won the second heat race, will start alongside Biscoe in second, followed by heat three winner Marc-Antoine Camirand in third.
Ken Schrader will be starting fourth and Donald Theetge, in his first career dirt race will round out the top five.
In their first career starts, Steve Côté, Amber Balcaen, and Cayden Lapcevich will start seventh, 15th, and 17th.
The green flag for the Freshstone Dirt Classic is up next at 9:40 p.m. ET.
