CREW CHIEF HANDOUT:
The starting field for this event will be established as follows: Starting Positions 1st through 19th will be determined from qualifying.
The provisional Starting Positions 20th and 21st will be assigned based on the current 2021 NASCAR Pinty’s Series Championship car owner point standings.
The provisional Starting Positions 22nd and 23rd will be assigned based on the current 2021 NASCAR Pinty’s Series Championship driver point standings.
QUALIFYING: NASCAR Road Race style (group) qualifying. Qualifying order will be determined by each vehicle’s best overall lap time from the practice session(s)
RACE PIT STOP: Not Applicable for This Event.
ICAR will be 75 laps (120 KM). In the event of rain or wet track conditions, practice, qualifying
and/or the race may start or continue under those conditions.
In wet conditions, competitors may be required to equip their cars with wet condition tires as specified by General Tire. All cars
must be equipped at all times with a functional defogger and a rear window flashing light and should be equipped with a functional windshield wiper motor. The rear window flashing light must be illuminated during wet conditions and must be located inside the upper left section of the rear window.
All teams will be required to have one (1) set of four (4) mounted wet condition tires in their assigned pit stall.
The maximum tire allotment available for this event is as follows: One (1) tire for practice, four (4) tires for qualifying and to
begin the race for a total of five (5) tires.
*A team representative must designate qualifying and race tires to NASCAR Officials at the designated time. Tires from previous NASCAR Pinty’s Series events may be used for practice sessions only.
During the race, up to four (4), additional tires may be designated by a team representative to the NASCAR Official assigned to their pit stall as an ‘Emergency Change Tire’.
Emergency Change Tires may only be used in the event of a flat tire, damaged wheel and/or the tire cannot maintain the recommended minimum pressures from General Tire. Emergency Change Tires cannot be a new/sticker tire.
