Raphael Lessard broke records in his first NASCAR Pinty's Series race, becoming the only driver to win their debut event.

Lessard quickly moved up to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2020, winning at Talladega that year with Kyle Busch Motorsports.

After sponsorship issues, caused him to leave the Truck Series, Lessard returned to Pinty's in 2021, briefly subbing in for an injured Donald Theetge during the season opener at Sunset Speedway. The then 20-year-old, swept the double-header event.

At the beginning of the 2022 season, it was announced that Lessard would join EHR, splitting the No. 8 Chevrolet with Ray Courtemanche Jr for the year, racing the oval events.
