Matthew Scannell made his first career NASCAR Canada series start at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in 2013
In 2014, at the age of 17, Scannell competed in eight of 11 events, on his way to becoming the Rookie of the Year.
During the 2023 season, Scannell made three starts with a best finish of tenth at Toronto, Exhibition Place.
