The NASCAR Canada Series presented by Evirum and Pinty’s has crowned Steve Côté as the 2024 Josten’s Rookie of the Year, celebrating his outstanding debut season with Allrem Racing. Piloting the No. 29 Evirum/BKFC Chevrolet, Côté delivered consistent performances across a variety of challenging tracks throughout Canada, from road courses to ovals. He finished third in his heat race alongside NASCAR Cup Series driver Chase Briscoe and legendary racer Ken Schrader, securing a 7th-place start on the grid. Côté ultimately crossed the finish line in 8th after a thrilling night on the dirt. His other top-10 finishes included a 9th-place finish at the prestigious Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, 7th at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in the WeatherTech 200, and 8th at Delaware Speedway in the Delaware 200. Additionally, Côté consistently posted competitive times during practice and qualifying sessions, including standout performances at the Evirum 100 at ICAR and Autodrome Montmagny.
