Decision of the National Motorsports Appeals Panel

Date of appeal hearing: October 2, 2024

Time of Hearing: 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time

Location: Virtual Teams Meeting

Appeals Panelists for this hearing:

-Mr. Chuck Deery

-Mr. Thomas DeLoach

-Mr. Mike Skinner

Appellants:

-Mr. Herby Drescher

-Ms. Anna Romatowska

The decisions of the National Motorsports Appeals Panel are:

1. That the Appellants violated the Rule(s) set forth in the Penalty Notice.

2. That the Panel amends the original Penalty assessed by NASCAR to read:

A loss of 12 driver and owner NASCAR Canada Championship points

Driver is indefinitely suspended from NASCAR until completion of Anger Management Training, as determined by NASCAR.

Driver will remain on probation for one (1) year upon successful completion of Anger Management Training.

$2,500 fine.

In reaching the above decision, the panel provided the following explanation:

The fine amount was reduced, based on the fact that the driver will have to pay additional fees for anger management as well as he has already missed 3 races that he could have participated in and the second driver received no penalty which Panel Members believe he should have received after reviewing the video.

Sincerely,

Haley Burleson, Appeals Administrator
