Rookie sensation Will Larue, driving the No. 45 Larue Industrial Snow Blowers/XPN Chevrolet, made waves in his second career NASCAR Canada start. After a disappointing debut at Autodrome Chaudière, Larue bounced back with a vengeance at Montmagny.
In a breathtaking duel, Larue hounded Lacroix in the closing laps, nearly stealing the victory. Though he had to settle for second, Larue’s performance solidified him as a rising star to watch.
Côté Wins Josten’s Rookie of the Year
The prestigious Josten’s Rookie of the Year award went to Steve Côté, who piloted the No. 29 Evirum/BKFC Chevrolet with skill and determination all season long. Côté’s consistent performance earned him the top rookie honours, capping off a stellar season.
