The Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières is set to host round nine of the 2022 NASCAR Pinty’s season.
This year marks the series’ 15th time racing on the streets of Trois-Rivières, Quebec, with 60-laps around the 1.53-mile street circuit.
1997 Formula One champion, Jacques Villeneuve rejoins the series for the first time since 2014. Other road course stars, such as Louis-Philippe Montour, J.F. Dumoulin and Alex Guenette will also grace the 24-car field.
Last year, Alex Tagliani claimed his third win on the street circuit, while J.F. Dumoulin came runner-up, for his best finish in the series. Kevin Lacroix, Andrew Ranger and hometown star, L.P. Dumoulin have also seen victory at GP3R before and are fan favourites
