Montréal, QC — Alex Tagliani announced earlier today that he will be returning to the NASCAR Pinty’s Series full-time in 2021 with 22 Racing.
The 47-year-old from Mirabel, QC, is a strong contender for the 2021 championship after he finished runner-up in the 2018 standings.
Last March, Tagliani announced Viagra as a new primary co-sponsor for his iconic No. 18 Chevrolet, alongside Rona and St-Hubert.
The Quebec native missed the first two events of the 2020 Pinty’s FanCave Challenge to race for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at the Daytona Road-Course.
He made his return to the Pinty’s Series at Flamboro Speedway where he finished fourth and sixth, respectively, in the double-header events.
“NASCAR did an amazing job behind the scene and worked closely with the promoters to have an early schedule and to ensure a race season for the drivers, the crew and all the fans in Canada,” said Tagliani. “We all learned the hard way, with the pandemic, I think now we are all going to appreciate racing even more.”

Tagliani’s last win in the series came at Exhibition Place in 2019. He finished the season with a total of six top-fives and eight top-tens, including a runner-up finish at GP3R.
However, he sat out the final three races of the 2019 season due to a heart condition.
